Ms. Fitzwater represents corporations, private equity and hedge funds and individuals in all aspects of complex business-related litigation and employment disputes.  She regularly appears in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the United States in connection with her practice and has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and arbitrations before AAA, JAMS and FINRA.  Ms. Fitzwater also represents corporations and individuals in white-collar criminal defense and regulatory proceedings.  This experience includes representation of an individual defendant throughout the criminal, ancillary and appellate proceedings in United States v. Stein, et al. (the "KPMG case"), the largest tax fraud case in U.S. history, which concluded with a dismissal of all counts charged against her client. 

Ms. Fitzwater is an active member of the New York bar and frequently presents on a variety of legal topics including e-discovery and brief writing.

Ms. Fitzwater was born in Ashtabula, Ohio.  She joined the firm in April 2004.
