Peter D. Deutsch specializes in a broad range of corporate, transactional and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financings, bank financings, and material vendor and customer arrangements.  He regularly assists “start-ups,” more seasoned companies and individual entrepreneurs in evaluating potential business development and commercial opportunities, and takes the lead in structuring, negotiating and documenting the related transactions.  Mr. Deutsch also provides legal, business affairs and corporate governance advice and counseling to boards of directors, managing members and corporate officers in connection with all aspects of their businesses including capital-raising efforts, securities law matters, human resources and employment law matters, and day-to-day operations, and has served as de facto General Counsel to many of such companies.

Mr. Deutsch previously practiced with the New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and was a Partner at the Manhattan-based law firm of Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP.  He also served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and a member of the Board of Directors of EPIX Holdings Corporation, a national provider of human resources outsourcing services controlled by a group of leading private equity investors.
