Arkin Solbakken LLP obtained dismissal of all claims against its client and an award of sanctions in the action styled Abraham v. Eliashiv, Index No. 654070/2022 (Sup. Ct. N.Y. County 2022). In October 2022, a plaintiff commended an action against Arkin Solbakken LLP’s client asserting causes of action for tortious interference with contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Arkin Solbakken LLP filed a motion to dismiss all claims against its client and for sanctions against its adversary so that is client could recover the attorneys’ fees and expenses she incurred defending against the claims. In February 2023, the Court granted Arkin Solbakken LLP’s motion to dismiss and for sanctions. The defendant was represented by Deana Davidian of Arkin Solbakken LLP.
